SubmitYourArticle.com Review

This review of SubmitYourArticle.com is based solely on my personal experience.

SubmitYourArticle.com is an online automated article submission service that has been called the ‘Rolls Royce’ of article submission sites.

SubmitYourArticle.com Review

SubmitYourArticle.com Review

I commenced my article submission career, manually submitting to the top 3 article directories; Ezinearticles.com, Articlebase.com and ArticleDashboard.com.

Realizing that I could leverage my time better using an automated article submission service, I started using Article Post Robot because it ticked a lot of boxes;

1. It was fully automated – once you entered the details once it automatically uploaded the article to multiple sites.
2. Pure Leverage – Article Post Robot submits your articles to 500+ article directories. This creates a huge number of back links very rapidly.
3. It mitigated the effects of duplicate content penalties by spinning articles and thus posting a unique version to each directory.
4. APR is a one time payment, which keeps costs down.

Having used several desktop based article submission software, I can certainly state that Article Post Robot is the best desktop based software.

The only weakness of this type of software are;
1. You can’t set up a timed submission. If you are using APR it will only submit your articles in one bulk submission. This can work against you if Google suddenly notices 500 back links pointing to your site in the space of a few hours. It would be a lot more natural if you could drip feed this content over a more pro longed period.

2. Convenience. With APR you need to set up each submission task each time. With an online service like SubmitYourArticle.com you can load article submissions months in advance and they will occur automatically.

SubmitYourArticle.com eliminates virtually all of the weaknesses associated with desktop article submission sites such as Article Post Robot.

The advantages of SubmitYourArticle.com include;
1. Timed submissions. You can use the services ‘Article Trickle’ system to trickle your articles out over an extended period of time. This mean you can load your articles to be submitted for the next 3 months into submityourarticle.com and it will submit them automatically over that time. This will look more natural to the search engines.

2. Spinned submissions. You can use the services “Article Leverage” system to ‘spin’ different lines within the article. This means that a unique version of your article is submitted each time this mitigating duplicate content penalties.

3. Review. A team of editors review your article prior to submission to the article directories. This eliminates grammatical and spelling errors which increase the professionalism of your articles.

4. Reach. SubmitYourArticle.com has an extensive network of website publishers who receive notification through SYAs RSS feed. Effectively they select various nodes such that they can access topics directly relevant to their sites. This means that your content will be placed on highly relevant sites in front of your target market.

5. Convenience. The fact that SYA is a hosted solution, all the ‘heavy lifting’ is done by SYA’s servers. This means that there is no desktop based application taking up bandwidth on your own PC.

Disadvantage of SubmitYourArticle.com

1. Lack of transparency. There is no statistics system that indicates how many article directories have received your article or how many sites within their extensive network have published it.

2. Limited timed submissions. As of writing this review SYA will prevent you from pre-loading article for submission beyond 3 months into the future. This is annoying for those who want to load articles 3+ months in advance.

If you want to use a desktop based article submission software then I strongly recommend Article Post Robot. If you want a more advanced service and are a willing to pay a monthly fee, then SubmitYourArticle.com is certainly the premier service online.

How to Structure Your Article for Maximum Views & Click Throughs

Why do many articles generate hundreds of thousands of views while others are left derelict at some distant corner of cyberspace?  The answer very often comes down to ‘article structure’.

Article Marketing: 5 Tips on How to Structure an Article

Article Marketing: 5 Tips on How to Structure an Article

Every effective article contains a structure as follows;

  1. An attention grabbing title
  2. An opening paragraph that invokes curiosity
  3. A main body which delivers the meat of the articles ‘value added’ information
  4. A powerful conclusion which summarizes the key points
  5. A resource box which offer a free download related to the articles niche

If you can combine these elements with sufficient emotive language, then your article will attract serious attention.

1. An attention grabbing title
The title is one of the most important factors for driving traffic to your article.  It must invoke emotion and promise an exciting benefit to the reader.  For example instead of an article entitled “Article Marketing Tips” you could use “Revealed: How to get 500 site visitors per day using article marketing”.

The use of the keyword ‘Revealed’ indicates it’s an ‘insider secret’ and the quantity of ‘500 members per day’ is exciting. This is guaranteed to increase article views.

You should use an effective writing template for both your title and body copy.  An example of this is; “10 ways to….”, “How to……” and many more.

2. An opening paragraph that invokes curiosity
The opening paragraph must grab the readers attention and give them a compelling reason to read right to the end.  State the most exciting benefits of reading your article and this should be a sufficient hook to retain reader attention, and get them reading.

3. A main body which delivers the meat of the articles ‘value added’ information

The body of the article should contain 3 to 5 paragraphs that reveal the core benefits or tips that you outlined in the opening paragraph. You should focus on making one key point per paragraph.  This makes the article more digestible and easier for the reader to understand.

You need to ensure that your article is delivered in bite size chunks and use plenty of white space.  Never have more than 3 or 4 lines per paragraph.  Use ‘bulleted’ or ‘numbered’ lists to improve your readers reading experience.

4. A powerful conclusion which blends into the resource box
Many inexperienced article marketers overlook the important of the conclusion.  It is an essential element in increasing the number of click throughs via your resource box.  A good article write will lead the reader to ‘click on’ the link in their resource box by making subtle suggestions in the conclusion.  This takes a little practice as an explicit mention of your site in the conclusion may get your article rejected.

An excellent tip is to imagine your conclusion as two paragraphs long.  The first paragraph is your actual conclusion, while the second is your resource box.

This enables you to synthesize the continuity between your conclusion and resource box and naturally lead the reader to clicking on the link in your resource box.

So you need to make your resource box feel more like a continuation of your conclusion and then subtly blend your link into this paragraph as a source for a free download that will deliver further great benefits to the reader.

5. A resource box which offer a free download related to the articles niche

A ‘Resource Box’ is often referred to as a biography box and ironically the secret to writing a good resource box is to not treat is as a ‘biography box’.

If you write a ‘biography box’ that focuses totally on you, your click throughs will be low because your readers are not interested in you, they are interested in ‘information’ pertaining to your niche.

Instead of saying;

“Mao Flynn is a free lance journalist with 30 years writing experience.  He has an MBA from Harvard, and extensive knowledge on the effective article writing technique.  Visit his site www.articlemarketingdevastation.com for article writing tips.”

Say the following two part conclusion (conclusion + resource box);

Conclusion
“There are a variety of powerful article writing resource on the internet that enable article writing newbie’s to write like the pros virtually straight away.  These resources include writing templates, proven tried and tested principles as well as article writing software.

Maximize Article Marketing Through Multi Format Distribution

Many article marketers fail to leverage the true traffic generating potential of each and every article they produce. Many will create a single article and upload this article to their primary article directory such as ezinearticles.com.

Article Marketing Distribution

Others will leverage a powerful video submission service such as SubmitYourArticle.com or ArticlePostRobot to submit that single article to 500+ different websites at click of a button. This is a wise strategy because you are extending the reach of your article by a factor of 500 for very little extra effort.

However it is the savvy internet marketer who is really maximizing the traffic potential of each and every article they produce by transforming the article into multiple formats.

Some of these formats include the following;

1. Video
2. Podcast
3. Images
4. Blog Posts
5. Forum Posts

1. Video
Video is one of the most powerful content distribution formats online today. There are over 200 video sharing websites in existence. Use a program such as Article Video Robot to transfer your article into a video at the click of a button. This service also enables you to upload your video to the top 17 video sharing sites automatically. So with this 1 article you have created 17 additional streams of traffic and many additional backlinks to boost your SEO efforts.

2. Podcast
Google a free tool called ‘Audacity’ and use it to transfer your article into an audio file. Then use a service such as content buzz to distribute your audio to the top podcasting directores. This is a great strategy for further extending the reach of your article. Practically everyone has an iPod, so you may as well take advantage of this medium.

3. Images
Many savvy internet marketers are turning their articles into a storyboard of images and posting them to photo sharing sites. Simply using images from your website that pertain to your niche, place your website URL on these images and upload them to photo sharing sites such as Flickr or Photobucket. These images are then indexed by Google and thus when some one searches Google images your product appears.

4. Blog Posts
This strategy can be used two fold. You can re-condition old blog posts and submit them as articles to the article directories or you can re-condition articles and post them as blog posts. You need to ensure the content is re-worked appropriately for the medim. For example, blogs tend to be more informal where as articles need to be professional and thus formal.

5. Forum Posts
Provided that you are an active participant in forums pertaining to your niche, it is likely that you will come across opportunities to post replies that will contain similar content to you articles. This is a good strategy for building back links and for creating further targeted streams of traffic.

Use these 5 content formats to greatly extend the reach and influence of each new article you produce. You will see a notable surge in traffic and squeeze the maximum possible traffic out of each new article produced.

How to Drive Traffic To You Online Articles

Once you have created the article and distributed it to multiple article directories, you need to turn you attention to driving traffic to this article.

Article Marketing Traffic

Article Marketing Traffic

Certainly if you have submitted your article to quality article directories such as eZine Articles, you articles will attract traffic organically. This will happen naturally as Google bots visits high PR traffic directories regularly and index new content. Therefore your article should start receiving traffic from search engine placement.

However, you need to to execute an article marketing strategy that seriously ‘bumps up’ the flow of traffic to that article.

I have used the following 7 methods and noted very strong surges of traffic as a result.

1. Social Bookmark Your Article
Social Bookmarking is a powerful social media optimization strategy. By simply submitting your article title, description and link to these social book marking sites, you will notice a surge in traffic.

Certain of these sites are particularly powerful. I recommend focusing especially on digg, stumbleupon and delicious. Be sure to pepper your title and description with keywords.

Very often these ‘keyword rich’ book marks get high ranking on Google. Use a free service such as Social Marker or the premium Content Buzz to distribute your bookmarks at the click of a button.

2. Tweet Your Articles Link
Assuming you have a presence on Twitter and have built up a following, tweet a link to the article to your followers. This will lead to an automatic spike in traffic. Use eZineArticles.com’s ‘auto tweet’ feature so that every time you post a new article, it automatically tweets it through your twitter account.

3. Email Your List
A powerful way to drive immediate traffic to your article is to email a link to your list. Actively encourage your list to ‘subscribe’ to your author account on eZineArticles.com’s. That way they will receive an automatic notification every time you post a new article.

4. Message Your Facebook Friends
Use a tool such as Friend Blaster Pro to automatically message your friends on Facebook with a link to the article.

5. Post You Link as answers to question on Yahoo Answers
Simply go to Yahoo Answers and search for questions pertaining to the topic area of you article. If your article provides a suitable answer to someones question, paste the opening paragraph of your article along with a link that reads; “Click here to read the rest of this article”. Check out “The Cliffhanger Method” on this site for more information.

6. Post your link in blog comments under a related blog post
Simply type “blog + your topic” into Google and find a blog post that relates to the topic of your article. Leave a blog comments that adds value to the bloggers post and include a link to your article.

7. Post your link on YouTube
Find videos on YouTube relating to your article, and leave a comment with a link under these videos. However, do not spam YouTube comments. Simply post your link under one or two videos.

These 7 methods will further increase the exposure of your articles, ensuring more of your target market read the article, recognize you as an expert on the topic and ultimately click through to your website.

This is a great strategy for kick starting the traffic to newly submitted articles.

Top 10 Article Marketing Tips

Article Marketing is a key source of targeted traffic online. But in order to derive maximum benefit you need to follow proven tried and tested principles.

Article Marketing Tips

Article Marketing Tips

The following 10 tips should be adhered to in order to maximise your results with article marketing;

1. Keep your article focused on one central theme.
Too often article marketers introduce too many different topics into the one article which dissolves the articles potency. If your article is about SEO Search Engine Optimization, don’t start talking about newspaper advertising half way through.

2. Present you article in bite size chunks.
Article structure is very important; users will not read an article right through if it’s presented as a single block of text. Use bulleted or numbered lists and keep paragraphs short, 3 or 4 lines with plenty of white space.

3. Optimize your articles with adequate keyword density.
You need to ensure your primary keywords are as near to the beginning of your title as possible. These keywords will then automatically appear in the articles URL thus ensuring the article receives maximum Google juice. Many people don’t realize that it’s the earlier in the title your keywords appear, the greater the Google juice.

4. Create a killer title.
Your title is one of your articles most important elements. It not only needs to contain your keywords for SEO purpose but it needs to stop a reader dead in their tracks. Use one of the ubiquitous headline generators on Google to create a killer title.

5. Create a killer resource box.
Your resource box is your only payment for writing the article. You need to include your full URL preceded with http://, a compelling reason to click through e.g. a FREE report and a bio that expresses your expertise. Be sure to click on the link at the end of this article to receive a FREE report on constructing a killer resource box.

6. Write in a conversation tone.
It’s very important for the reader to feel they are having a conversation with you. Do not write your article in highfalutin business tone. Write it as if you were speaking to a friend. Don’t be afraid to let your personality shine through in the article. This gives your article character and will increase the likelihood the reader will finish reading it.

7. Give a compelling reason to read the article in the first paragraph.
Your article title has the purpose of getting your reader to click on your article. However you need to reveal a compelling reason in your first paragraph as to why a reader should read your article to the end. You might say something like; “Over the following paragraphs I will reveal how I transformed my online income from nothing to $10,000 a month, in just 12 weeks”. A word of warning here though do not make a statement that you article content does not deliver on. If you say you will reveal this secret then reveal it.

8. Present your most interesting information over the first half of the article.
This is important because many ezine editors will cut an article if it runs over the space they have available. It is within your interests to get published in these ezine, so creating maximum impact at the beginning of an article is essential.

9. Use a pen name to avoid diluting of expertise.
If like most article marketers you write on multiple topics, then it is strongly advisable that you use multiple pen names. For example if you write on Gardening, Internet Marketing and Golf your three different pen names could be; Elizabeth Woods, E. Woods or Beth Woods. This retains your credibility and expertise because if you used one pen name it gives the impression you know a little about everything as opposed to a lot about one thing.

10. Turn you articles into podcasts.
As well as distributing your article to article directories you can increase their reach by turning your articles into an audio file using the free ‘audacity’ tool. You can then upload them to various pod casting sites and extend the reach of your articles. Everyone has an iPod or MP3 player these days, so the smart thing to do is to take advantage of this medium.

Be sure to claim your FREE article marketing report to the right of this page which reveals the secrets behind creating a high conversion Resource Box.

How to Write 104,000 Articles a Year

Today I am going to talk about the strategies you can implement that will ensure you write 104,000 articles every year.

Yes you read that correctly 104,000 articles a year.

Article Writing Strategy

Article Writing Strategy

You see Article Marketing is very much a numbers game. The goal is to drive as much traffic as possible to your website as quickly as possible. Every article you submit is a new stream of targeted traffic that you have opened for free that will last ad infinitum.

The 5 secrets to making a killing online with article marketing are as follows;

1. Adopt a set routine and stick to it no matter what
This is perhaps the most over looked and most misunderstood element in the whole Article Marketing equation. You need to develop a set article marketing routine and stick to that routine religiously each and every say. For me I dedicate my first hour every morning to article writing and submission. I know as soon as the clock strikes 7am that I am at the PC busy writing my article.

We are all creatures of habit and so if you force yourself to do this for a couple of weeks each and every day it will eventually become habit and you will do it on auto pilot.

This is achieved by writing an article and then submitting it to as many article directories as possible.

2. Use self-discipline to overcome procrastination
The essence of article marketing is that it takes time and effort to produce quality articles that will drive traffic to your website. Like anything in life your output is only as good as your input in that you get out what you put in.

Perhaps the greatest obstacle to overcome is procrastination. Do not adopt the attitude ‘oh sure I’ll do it tomorrow’. This attitude will never produce results because tomorrow never comes it is always in the future.

You need to adopt my view on ‘self discipline’ i.e. ‘Do what you should do when you should do it whether you feel like it or not’.

If you adopt this principle and force yourself to stick to a routine, then you are taking action and that action will produce website traffic and sales.

3. Use proven tried and tested principles
A builder wouldn’t dare attempt to build a house without a blueprint from an architect. If he did the outcome would be disastrous. Your ‘Article Marketing’ production should be no different.

There are two ways to become an expert article marketer; 1. The Slow Way, 2. The Smart Way. The slow way is through trial and error. Try some thing, split test, measure results and keep tweaking the technique until you get the results you seek.

The smart way is by modeling the successful strategies used by other top article marketers. That is why I created ‘Article Marketing Devastation’, it is a blueprint of successful strategies used by the top Article Marketers.

Using a proven tried and tested blueprint will save you considerable time and money and maximize your sales no end.

4. Set Goals and Work to their achievement
For those of you who set goals, congratulations on occupying the top 1% of the adult population. It’s no surprise that studies revealed this top 1% are the most successful in society.

I urge you to open a Microsoft Word document dedicated to your article marketing goals and set article marketing goals using the SMART principle;
Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Realistic
Timely

For example my current article marketing goal is as follows;
Write two articles every week day morning at 7am, taking no longer than 1 hour and transmit these articles to 400 article directories using my automated software submission tool. This should results in an end of year total of 104,000 individual streams of traffic from 104,000 article submission.

52 weeks x 5 days per week x 400 article directories = 104,000 article submissions.

5. Track Results and tweak articles
Many article marketers adopt a ‘set and forget’ strategy i.e. once they post their articles they forget about them. This is what separates a good article marketer from a brilliant article marketer. The ‘brilliant’ article marketer will go back to their article statistics (e.g. Ezinearticles have this feature) and track which articles are performing well and which are performing poorly.

They will then tweak various elements such as the title and resource box and work to improving the click throughs. For example if your article is receiving low views relative to competitor articles then it is likely your title is not that alluring. Conversely if you are getting high views but low click throughs either your resource box is not compelling or your reader is loosing interest through your body copy.

It is critical that you adopt this testing and tracking philosophy if you want to be uber successful at article marketing.

Explode Your Article Traffic With the Cliffhanger Method

Today I am going to talk about a tactic I call ‘The Cliffhanger Method’.

It is a powerful way of driving targeted customers in ‘information seeking mode’ to your articles.

The Cliffhanger Method

The Cliffhanger Method

This is a key point because people who are actively seeking information are even more likely to click on your link and visit your website.

The technique is as follows;

1. Visit http://answers.yahoo.com/ and search for questions pertaining to your article. For example, if your have an article written on ‘How To Create The Perfect Golf Swing’ then type ‘Golf Swing’ in Yahoo Answers and review the topics.

2. Reply to the topics with just the opening paragraph in your article. This is critical you want to give them a taste of the great information you offer and leave them in a state whereby they are hungry for the rest of the information. This is the essence of the ‘Cliffhanger Method’.

3. Provide a link to your article and give them a specific call to action i.e. Click on the following link to read the rest of this article.

I have used this strategy on numerous occasions and it is a great way to super charge the traffic to your articles, increase page views and maximize the possibility of your article appearing in the ‘Most Viewed EzineArticles (90 Days)’ for the category your article is associated with.

This is the key to your traffic explosion as the ‘Most Viewed EzineArticles (90 Days)’ link appears on ALL the articles in that category.

This will generate a substantial spike in your web traffic within days. This will provide you with increase site visitor, increased product sales, increased email submissions and increased expert status.

The beauty of the Cliffhanger method is that you can use it in high traffic sites other than Yahoo Answers. This could forums, blog comments and other alternatives to Yahoo Answers including;

1. www.dizzay.com
2. www.askville.com
3. www.answerbag.com
4. www.wikianswers.com
5. www.youtube.com (comment under related videos)

Start immediately with this strategy and I’ll bet you are surprised by the strong traffic growth you will receive.

Top 10 Mistakes when creating an Article Resource Box

If you have downloaded and read my free chapter from ‘Article Marketing Devastation’ you will appreciate the critical importance of creating a ‘killer resource box’. In essence the resource box is the only payment you receive for writing the article in the first place.

Article Writing Resource Box

Article Writing Resource Box

You need to construct your resource box using the tried and tested principles I reveal in Article Marketing Devastation. If you don’t you are under utilizing a supremely powerful source of web traffic.

Assuming that you have constructed your resource box using these principles, I will now reveal the top 10 mistakes Article Marketers make and what you need to do to avoid them.

1. Improper formatting of the URL in the Resource Box
This is a simple yet major mistake made by article marketing newbies. They create an excellent article and then in their resource box they write an incomplete URL i.e. www.yourwebsite.com.

In order to create a live URL it must be preceded with a http:// i.e.
www.yourwebsite.com

2. A URL with more than 60 characters in a text Resource Box
Depending on the article directory you are posting to, your article will either be in ‘plain text’ or ‘HTML’.

If you are using automated Article Submission software your article will be inputted to both ‘plain text’ and ‘html’ based forms.

You need to ensure your URL is not over 60 characters long. If it is you run the risk of the link breaking in a text based resource box.

A simple way to check the length of your URL is to enter it into a Microsoft Word document, highlight it and click on ‘Tools’ –> ‘Word count’. This will tell you exactly if it’s more that 60 characters long, if it is you need to use a higher level domain.

3. Not giving a compelling reason to click through
This point is made several times through out ‘Article Marketing Devastation’, and I cannot emphasize it enough. You have to give the reader a compelling reason to click through to your website. The very best way of achieving this is giving away a valuable ‘FREE Report’. It will substantially improve your conversions and web traffic.

4. Putting Punctuation directly after your URL
Make certain you never place punctuation such as a comma or full stop directly after your link. This will lead to the link breaking in certain sites which automatically convert Urls to active links.

5. Improper Use of Anchor Text
Anchor text is a powerful SEO strategy for getting Google bots to associate certain keywords with your website. Certain authors make the mistake of making either their name or business a live link to their site.

This is a wasted opportunity because you are limited in the number of live links you can have on your site. You should make a list of your top keywords and hyperlink those terms to maximize your Google juice.

6. Forgetting to Hyperlink a URL in HTML Resource Boxes
Many Article Marketers assume that simply putting through a full active link e.g. www.yourwebsite.com is adequate for create a live link in HTML resource boxes.

This is not always the case. HTML Resource Boxes assume the author is hyperlinking anchor text i.e. you are making certain keywords a live link to your website. Therefore if you include a full URL e.g. www.yourwebsite.com, you must specify that you also want this to be a live link.

7. No Link
Many of you would be surprise to learn that one of the most common mistakes made by article marketers is the failure to put any link whatsoever in their resource box. The link is the primary reason for your article. It is what enables traffic to flow to your website from article directories and it is what Google uses to determine the page rank of your website. So never forget to put in the link in the first place.

8. Breaking the Link by trying to make it stand out
Many Article Marketers inadvertently break their links when they try and make it stand out using ‘bold’ or ‘italics’. They mess up the HTML tags and don’t realize it. It is not necessary to put your URL in ‘bold’ or ‘italics’, the article sites will automatically convert your link to the universal link format ‘blue and underlined’.

Always remember to test your link in live preview mode prior to submission.

9. Failure to state Author Name
Article Marketing is not only a source of web traffic but a means to brand your name and create the impression that you are an expert in your niche. Therefore you must use your author name for every article you submit.

10. Over complicating your resource box
Where some authors forget to mention their author name or even provide a live link to their site, others go to the other extreme and actually provide far too much information. They give a mini essay on their lifes achievements.

Be brief and to the point. View the example resource box provided in the FREE chapter from ‘Article Marketing Devastation’ to get an idea of what should be included.

Remember your key focus is to drive traffic to your website so do not drown out the link with too much text.

Article Marketing: How to Turn Your Blog Posts into Articles

We all know that writing articles can be a time consuming process. You need to pick a topic, get everything you know down on paper, research supporting statistics, structure the article and then send it.

Article Marketing Using Blog Posts

Article Marketing Using Blog Posts

Sometimes it’s difficult to come up with new topics to write about.

A great source of ideas for topics are your old blog posts. However you can not just copy and paste these old blog posts directly into article directories. To do so you risk content duplication penalties and thus web traffic to your article will be negatively impacted.

I have used the following 6 step approach to re-working my blog posts into articles and it works very well.

1. Refrain from re-working the article line by line. Google bots have become very sophisticated at recognizing patterns and changing words here and there is not sufficient to fool them anymore.

2. Read over old blog post and note key points. Do not copy full blocks of text. Note the key points and use those as structure for your new article

3. Use the key points to create a new article. Simply create an article around the key points recorded in the previous step, using these key points as a skeleton structure.

4. Use an article template to structure your article. Where your blog was most likely in essay form it’s advisable to structure your article in bite size chunks. For example Top 5 Mistakes…, Top 10 ways to etc. These can take the form of bullet point or numbered lists.

5. Never re-work a previous submitted article. It’s critical that you do not plagiarize your previous articles. It’s perfectly fine to re-work a blog or forum post but not a previous article. This will serve only to undermine your article writing efforts.

6. Synonym Replacement. It is important that your article retains effective keyword density i.e. there were certain keywords used in your blog post which are critical and should be retained for your article. You may be able to use synonyms (words that have a similar meaning) for less important keyword phrases to further remove the probability of duplicate content penalty.

This is a very effective 6 step process that will enable you to derive maximum benefit from re-working your old blog posts into articles.
